Let's Beat Cancer

Thank you for visiting our website, after a long battle with Cancer our founder 'David Tew' passed away in November 2008. He was with his family at the time and passed away gently.

David's strength of character and determination can only be inspirational for those suffering from cancer and indeed for all of us, David fought on enjoying as much of life as possible with his wife Lauren and family.

Dearly loved and cherished by his family and friends David will never be forgotten and is missed by so many.

The purpose of Let's Beat Cancer was to provide support and help to those suffer a life limiting disease. Over the years we have raised vast sums of money and passed this to other charities that work to help Cancer suffers throughout the UK.

After David's passing we met and discussed at length the future of Let's Beat Cancer. We have concluded that David had devoted his precious time to this charity and it gave him strength to carry on through the suffering and discomfort. We supported him 100% and worked very hard to generate funding. We agreed that we should wind the charity up as David had acheived so much we felt it was time to draw it to a close.

We have taken all remaining funds and divided them up amongst David's chosen charities which include The Colo-Recticle Research Unit and the Quiet Cancer Appeal.
